Shoshone tribe

The Shoshone horses were important to the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Sacajawea was kidnapped and raised by the Hidatsa Indians.

The Shoshone Indians are still around today.

It took four languages to communicate between Lewis and Clark and the Shoshone Indians.

The Shoshone hunted several animals such as buffalo,marmot,deer ,elk,fox ,and beaver.

Each of the poles of the teepee have a special meaning.
