Every Corvette is now produced in Bowling Green KY.Bob McLean designed a general layout for the Corvette which was originally code named,''Opel''.The Corvette have been assembled in three different cities - Flint,Michigan,St.louis,Missouri,and Bowling Green Kentucky.On Tuesday June 30,1953 corvette #1 serial number E53F001001 rolled of the assembly line,and corvette production began.
