My old Kentucky home

The song ''My Old Kentucky Home'', words and music by Stephen Collins Foster, was adopted by the Kentucky legislature as the Kentucky state song on March 19,1928. Foster lived at Federal Hill, which was built between 1795 and 1818. Federal Hill was the name of the building that is now referred to as the My Old Kentucky Home state park. There is a theater there that plays an outdoor production of the story of My Old Kentucky Home.

  2. It was built around 1800 so that would make it over 200 years old.
